The Auth Server is intended to be a centralized, federated, web-based application for user and application authentication and authorization across various Amynta web applications and APIs.
The OpenID Connect specification, which is built on top of OAuth 2.0, defines the primary protocol used by the Amynta Group Auth Server for communication, authorization, and authentication. As enhancements are made to the application, additional specs may be added to support other protocols.
At present, the Amynta Group Auth Server only supports Amynta Logins as a user authentication mechanism, however future authentication types are planned for integration.
Because the Amynta Group Auth Server adheres to various existing standards, it provides a reliable, secure way to communicate with Amynta's services.
